All required information when joining the BAKL – Race to space
For kitesurfing in the BAKL competition, I hereby acknowledge and agree to the following:
I understand and acknowledge that kitesurfing in strong wind conditions has inherent dangers that no amount of care can totally eliminate. I expressly and voluntarily assume all risk of personal injury or death sustained while participating at BAKL, whether or not caused by the negligence of the released parties. I confirm that my insurance covers third party damage to people and property. I confirm that I am an open water swimmer and that I am not under influence of alcohol or drugs. I am not pregnant or nursing. I have no mental impairment that may affect my judgement of danger. I acknowledge that I have been given adequate opportunity to read and understand this document, that it was not presented to me at the last minute.I further represent that I am at least 18 years old and that I am in a good health condition and have no medical condition that may interfere with the practice of Big Air kitesurfing. Or, Since I am not yet 18, I will be accompanied by a legal guardian at the competition. My legal guardian attests that the above is true for me.
